Let’s Begin…

There are some words that we use all the time when we read or write! These words are used so often that we should know them by heart-- or by sight! If we can read sight words, we can write them too. The more sight words we know the less energy we have to spend on them when we are reading and writing. We can save that energy for tackling trickier words. Let's learn about the sight word: "that!"

Sight words can help you read and write more quickly. This is important so you can use more of your energy on understanding a story...or creating one! Next time you are reading or writing think about what sight words you know by heart and how they are helping you.
