Prepositions are a special part of speech. Prepositions are like glue or bridges that help to link nouns (a person, place, or thing),to other words in a sentence. Prepositions usually tell when, where, or how in a sentence. Today we're going to learn all about the "where" prepositions!

Prepositions are really important glue, bridges, or chains that help to connect nouns to the rest of a sentence! Next time you are reading or writing a story be on the look out for these important parts of speech-- and think about how they let you know "where" a noun might be!
