Wooten, now a five-time Grammy winner, hit the worldwide scene in 1990 as a founding member of the super-group Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Continuing to blaze a musical trail with the band, Victor has also become widely known for his own Grammy nominated solo recordings and tours.

Borrowing proven skills, techniques, and philosophies from his Nature teachers, and combining them with many years of learning Music from his brothers, Regi, Roy (Future Man), Rudy, and Joseph, Victor developed a new, unique approach to Music; an approach that not only caused him to immediately play better, but also directly improved his Life. Now cruising into its twelfth year, Vix Camps continue to be the perfect setting for Victor Wooten to share his musical approach with students from across the globe. With a collection of the world's most innovative instructors, they have directly helped hundreds of musicians better themselves and their Music.
Victor played with Béla Fleck and eventually helped start Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. Béla Fleck has won 14 Grammy Awards since 1998, and he has received 30 nominations. He has been nominated in more different categories than anyone in Grammy history.
