Let’s Begin…
It’s a bustling day in Pompeii. After a quick visit to the market, Fabia spots her brothers, Lucius and Marcus, crossing the Forum. The siblings begin discussing Lucius’ wedding — but a deafening boom interrupts them. They watch Vesuvius spew smoke, ash, and rock — and realize they’ve been living in the shadow of a volcano. Gary Devore follows the siblings as they attempt to survive the disaster.

What do you think you would have done in Fabia, Lucius, and Marcus’ place if you were in Pompeii when Vesuvius erupted? Would you run or try to hide in the city? Why would staying in the city be the most dangerous option?

if i were in the place of the characters in this story, the first thing i would do would be to try to flee as quickly as possible to the mountains as fabia did. staying in the city is not an option given the magnitude of the event.

If I were one of them, I would search for a place as far away and secure for me and my family. I think that escape is a good idea for survived.

If I were them, I would choose same as Fabia chose. I would run as quickly as possible to find my family and get away of tephra and leave of the town, be cause it's impossible to survive hiding in the city, futhermore the worst option is staying in the city, since if the ashes don't kill you, the toxic gases will do.

I think that being in the position of one of the brothers, the most reasonable thing would have been to flee, but in the case of having a loved one who does not appear, as Lucius experienced, it would also be likely for me to stay waiting in the city, especially without a way of quick communication. Also, staying in the city is the most dangerous option, because regardless of the hiding place (especially in that era), the lava could reach you.

would run the city like Fabia did, given the conditions with all those toxic gases and hot ash, staying in the city would be a dangerous decision because it is exposed to many risks for the survival of human beings.
