Let’s Begin…

Classical music mastermind Benjamin Zander concluded his 2008 TED Talk by recounting the heartrending story of an Auschwitz survivor and her brother. This short animated piece highlights that story, reminding us that the words we speak to one another are incredibly powerful tools that we shouldn't take for granted.

Practice. Practice thinking through everything, no matter how simple or complex think it through in a calm, logical manner. That way when you are introduce to a situation that may cause you to say something regretable you are more likely to think it through calmly and logically rather than acting on impulse and emotion.

I think we have to live in a way that we feel that is a continued learning. Because if we keep learning there is no way to feel mad of something you did or someone did. Also if you think that way, you become more empathic with other people and treat people the way you want to be treated.

Before you say something to another person, think about the consequences your words will have. If it is truthful, and does not harm others than you can say it, but if it could cause negative thoughts, it is best that you keep it to yourself.
