Science class, how do you feel about it?  How would you feel if you were allowed to choose any local, remote, or global environmental problem to fix?  What would you choose? How would you go about fixing it?  Cesar Harada's science class just might have the answers you need!  Sit down with a group of classmates and get collaborating!

Environmental problems are always a topic on the nightly news. What remote environmental issue have you seen (visually) that you find most pervasive? Find a photo or infographic that relates to this issue and bring it to class. Debate with your group to determine which ONE remote environmental issue your group will address. Investigate the problem online. Brainstorm at least five ways you could lessen or solve this problem. Create your own experiment to address a scientific concept within this issue.
