liquid oxygen is blue

lots of elements in the metals and metalloids are silver or whitish silver. many gases are blue or green. sulfur is yellow. liquid oxygen is blue. nitrogen is colorless. hydrogen is colorless. phosphorous is mostly red, but has white, yellow and black forms. Iodine is purple. I think bismuth is pink. carbon is black. silicon is opaque white to white. copper is copper. cobalt is purple. calcium and potassium are white.
