A different Periodic Video, Fluorine Gas found in nature (NEWS), explains to us how a mine in Germany contains CaF2 crystals that are not colorless (as they should be). If you break the crystals they produce, not only does it emit a terrible smell, they also contain tiny bubbles of fluorine gas (F2)!
