Let’s Begin…
Museums have been a part of human history for over 2,000 years -- but they weren't always like the ones we visit today. J.V. Maranto uncovers the evolution of museums, from the first museum in 530 BC (curated by a princess) to PT Barnum’s freak shows and beyond.

In my opinion, in 200 years, people will look at whatever will be left after humanity brings the world to a point of no-return, in terms of nature, climate crisis, overpopulation and et cetera. We have developed our intelects and our technologies so much. And this definitely will be on the museums of the future: our days of glory as the digital civilization, but also, our dark days, as we can't seem to be able to avoid our own apocalipse.

Probably making museums more interactive, interactive museums already exist so I think they should be popularized.

The perfect museum to me would actually be a step back for a lot of people, based on the many opinions on making future museums digitally. For me, I like the experience of going and doing stuff, instead of just looking at it through a VR headset, so bringing back some of the classical architecture that you find in the Smithsonian or the Louvre would be a bright future to me. Society seems to always get nostalgic and want more classic things to come back, which is apparent in movements like the Renaissance.
