Let’s Begin…
In 1996, a British Airways plane flew from New York to London in a record-breaking two hours and fifty-three minutes. Today, however, passengers flying the same route can expect to spend no less than six hours in the air — twice as long. So why, in a world where everything seems to be getting faster, have commercial flights lagged behind? Alex Gendler details the problems facing supersonic flight.

I personally like the more environmentally friendly option, since I don't want my windows breaking everyday, and I like the current aircraft, such as the Boeing 777-300ER, which might compare with it's range, or the Airbus A321XLR with incredible range and fuel efficiency, so I don't see why we need Supersonic Aircraft which makes taking a plane to somewhere more expensive.

I think we need to be encouraging more environmentally friendly forms of long-distance travel. I think we can achieve this by using more reusable sources, like sunlight or wind.

There has to be solution for both being environmentally friendly and flying faster air travel. I believe that technology will supply a solution for this situation in the near future. If not I will prefer to being environmentally friendly in long-distance travel .

I want to answer this question as an aviation lover, I prefer both of them I mean a new aircraft is coming called Boom Overture which is a supersonic aircraft, airlines should add Overture but they shouldn't give up buying 787s or A350s, passengers can choose which one they want to fly. But if you ask me supersonic flights would be more entertaining.
