More people don't own EVs due to several reasons: high initial purchase prices compared to traditional cars deter potential buyers, despite lower operating costs. The limited range of EVs raises concerns about reaching destinations without needing a recharge, known as range anxiety. Inadequate charging infrastructure, especially in rural or less developed areas, makes it inconvenient to own an EV. There's also a lack of awareness and understanding about EV benefits and how they operate. Finally, concerns about battery life and replacement costs can make potential buyers hesitant. Addressing these issues is crucial for increasing EV adoption.
