Sea turtles face a considerable array of threats throughout the course of their journey to adulthood. Which presents a larger collective threat - predatory and environmental factors or human-caused negative impacts? To extend the exercise, try arguing both positions - using factors such as percentage impact, duration of effect, novelty of manifestation, and degree of mitigation possible through (human) intervention. Further yet, if you were challenged with creating a species recovery program for sea turtles, where would you focus your energies and efforts? Why?
