Let’s Begin…

Although one third of the population suffers from motion sickness, scientists aren’t exactly sure what causes it. Like the common cold, it's a seemingly simple problem that's still without a cure. And if you think it's bad on a long family car ride, imagine being a motion sick astronaut! Rose Eveleth explains what’s happening in our bodies when we get the car sick blues.

I always have this unpleasant experience when I go by car, bus, or train somewhere. I often listen to music or just sleep.

I got motion sickness not so often, but I can still remember how bad I felt when it happened. last time I got motion sickness was in a bus back to school, I felt so bad and was about to vomit at any time but I can't. so I put my headphone on, turn on my favorite music and tried to open the window so that I could get some fresh air. finally I got to school.

Yes, me too. I just want to escape from that car... It's really hard when someone wants to give me a ride and I just can't stand in the car
