Let’s Begin…

Ancient Egyptians believed that in order to become immortal after death, a spirit must first pass through the underworld — a realm of vast caverns, lakes of fire, and magical gates. Tejal Gala describes an Egyptian "Book of the Dead" -- a customized magic scroll written by the living to promote a smooth passage to the afterlife when they died.

THE PAST WORLD

The Egyptians are rich in culture, traditions and objects from the past that give us an idea of how they lived thousands of years ago. For me it is important to know new cultures and Egyptian especially fascinates me because it has incredible myths and legends as is the case of Any and the book of the dead, which reflects the traditions they had and the way of thinking of the time and place. The part I liked the most was that Any was very intelligent in creating a book that would protect him from all the bad things that they thought happened after death; However, I think it is a very unreal and fantastic story that leaves many things to the imagination but sometimes it is necessary to have a bit of fantasy.
