Some argue that polio eradication efforts should be abandoned to focus instead on disease control through routine immunization. What are some arguments for or against polio eradication?

Vaccines are not always safe, so its important to put alot of time into developing, and testing it. Polio eradication is the practice of injecting a vaccine into a child so they can't get polio. As long as the vaccine is safe and tested, and the childs guardians approve, then there should be no problem with it.

I don't think that is a very good idea because they are so close to eradicating Polio so I don't think that they should stop and lose all their work.
