Satan, the beast crunching sinners’ bones. Lucifer, the fallen angel. Mephistopheles, the trickster striking deals. These three divergent devils are all based on Satan of the Old Testament. But unlike any of these literary devils, the Satan of the Bible was a relatively minor character. So how did he become the ultimate antagonist, with so many different forms? Brian A. I think that people have a lot of different points of view. Like the video said, some people believe that Devil is like the Bible says, others, say that the Devil is a fallen angel, Lucifer, that was good but fell to Earth and became evil. And other people believe that Devil comes to Earth only to do trades. And there are a lot of more points of view.

He is a fallen angel that thought that he was better then God and wanted to be God.
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!

No one and nothing is inherantly bad or evil. All good and evil is learned or developed as one experiences the unfairness of life. I think evil stems from wanting control or revenge when your life does not go as it should. The devil felt vindicated by god and his strong rule and wanted his own power.
