TED-Ed experiments with professional development

By Logan Smalley on June 20, 2013 in News + Updates

Last February, TED-Ed had the pleasure of hosting a small group of educators and Youtube stars at the annual TEDActive conference. The group engaged in a variety of activities together, one of which was a half-day brainstorm around how TED-Ed could potentially expand its platform to offer a professional development program in schools around the world. As an extension of the brainstorm, we invited a handful of the teachers to share their professional insights in the TED Talk format from the TEDActive stage. When the conference was over, we returned home with the delightful Talks below, along with pages and pages of great ideas on TED-Ed’s opportunity to support professional development in schools.
