Sir David Frederick Attenborough's powerful narration had the strength to remind us of the things we often choose to forget. In a world described as the 'Anthropocene', nature is taking a step back, allowing humans a time of damage. The Earth has the capacity to heal from any minuscule human damage, but human beings may not survive that healing process. Human beings 'changed' the Earth to what Earth is today, but we can conserve, and change again. 'Change' in itself is a word filled with possibilities, but it depends on what we change from, and what we change to.
History repeats itself every now and again. In the past, humans didn't care much for the environment as the Industrial Revolution kicked off to better the lives of the people. But now we know the damage done, we can use the past as motivation to save the planet.
We can return to how it was in the past. In that time period when we were in balance with nature, and earth thrived, we have to return to that point in the past, to make earth thrive once again. We have to use the skills and motives we had before the Industrial Revolution, and apply it to our lives. We have to use our past as an example.
We can evolve from the Industrial Era and go back to the Stone Age where we didn't need fossil fuels or cars or cell phones; we would always be in survival mood.
I believe our understanding of how everything on the planet is interconnected will be at the forefront of innovative technologies. Every facet of business can focus on their footprint from the inception of a new product. As consumers we need to support and demand sustainable products Individually, we can be aware of our habits. In our recent past we created a society where everything was disposable, always looking for the new and improved; numb to the waste. Humankind needs to learn from this past and evolve to value our resources. Our scientists need to focus on improving our quality of the life of this planet instead of which rainforest nut can give me volume in my hair.
There is a portion to which will not re-learn because of their past experiences and teachings. It could be tech, or food or what dopamine comes in and goes to us on a daily basis. Baby steps towards a better sustainable future.
We need to tack action now talk to the government
I think as we always do, we evolve in the way we live. We change our habits, improve our technology, etc. We not only evolve to survive, but to survive together with other species.
There are events in the past that help us innovate for the future.
Humans have developed number of ways to get maximum from the earth never realising the impacts, but now we need to reverse the climate change.
We can do many thing tho respond and save the planet and planting tree, reducing the fossil fuel use and all.
He mentions that in the past we evolved to adapt to new conditions. Now it seems that Mother Nature is having to adapt to us. The difference is though that nature with new conditions kept things in balance. Whereas with ourselves it is balanced largely in favour of us (for the time being). In the future we should not necessarily engage in progress, but look more widely at the effect it has on everything else.
all we really need to do is stop talking and do it we say we are going to make it better then y do we just do it
Humans have evolved profoundly since its genesis on planet earth. Humans have been thriving uninteruptedly and this very ability of Sapiens must strive to make changes once again; to make the our home, our planet to rejuvenate and sustainable!
We should change our behavior and be more careful to save the earth and our life
Que ahora todo sera diferente es decir, haremos cosas que antes no haciamos
From my point of view, our actions can chain or release us. In this era, Anthropocene, we now are taking all the resources and diminishing, at the same time, all that used to be fundamental and in balance with nature. In the beginning, we were respecting all, nature and what it involves. However, we did not know enough to deal with phenomena, so we learn to survive. Nowadays, with the advance of knowledge and technology, we are thriving but out of balance with nature. I think the proper way to create a better future for everybody is to change as much as possible and use all tools such as technology and discoveries for the right side. It is time to evolve.
haciendo cosas del pasado como, no utilizar tanto plastico
I think that is a great plan to save the world and the biodiversity of them, also is a nice idea to do humans more responsible with their actions and made them more friendly with the environment.
In the past, nature determined our survival, but in the age of humans, "The Anthropocene", we have turned the tables around. It doesn't have to be that way though. We humans are capable of changing the world with capacity to think. We should use it to our advantage and for Earth so nature and man can co-exist in balance. By protecting biodiversity, we are ensuring stability. We have to make sure that what we do can be done sustainably so we can thrive. Investing in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and food production, proper management of the ocean, and rewilding the world are ways to create a better future.
This is a powerful statement, one amongst many that David Attenborough has said to inspire and mobilise people across the globe. We need to learn from the past and the present in making changes and adapting to create a new and sustainable future. However, due to the severity and scale of the current climate crisis our planet is facing, evolution is simply too slow. Evolution takes millions of years whereas we need immediate action and solutions to this problem. We need to radically change our attitudes and behaviours in order to make positive changes to protect the natural world and so create a future for ourselves and future generations. If we do not manage to change then we will have a similar fate to the millions of species that are unable to adapt and evolve in time to the current crisis and which face or have become extinct.
The three things save that we need to save the earth is.........
1. we should not pollute the ocean
2. use less plastic
3. save water
The three things which can save Earth...
1. we should avoid using plastic.
2. we should not cut trees.
3. we should avoid pollution
In the past, all we cared about was making life easier for us. Nature gave everything we needed to survive but we wanted more. Now we are facing a crisis and we need to change our society to create a better future for coming generations. We need to live more sustainably and in a way that won't hurt the planet.
I think we should change the environment by using solar, wind&Water dams
Tried to think the best I could
Sir David Attenborough says that early in human history, nature determined humans' survival. He then states that now, humans determine nature's survival; however, I think that in the end, nature--or the lack thereof--will determine human's destruction...thus, humans must take action now to lead more sustainable lives and to protect the Earth to ensure neither nature nor humans are destroyed.
we can see that how clean and less polluted earth was in past and what things the people of past used to do we should follow the same to save our planet
We all had it right back then. Why we stopped being peaceful and embracing nature as well as celebrating it, I don't know. We need to rewild, unevolve, whatever you call it we need o go back to our balanced roots and away from this horrible, destructive, ugly force we have become.
Sir David Frederick Attenborough's powerful narration reminded us that nature determined humans' survival but now things have changed, everything is evolving, which for us would seem - development in technologies which could make things easier for us to live but here comes the problem, we are just thinking about ourselves, not about the future. We think nuking mars with stuff and making it a place where we could basically live and survive is the solution to the problem that we are facing which is climate change. MARS IS BASICALLY LIKE A CONTINGENCY PLAN HERE, it doesn't mean that its meant to happen! What we don't realize is that we still have time left and there's a lot of hope for change and NOW is not too late for initiating an action or responsibility to make that change!
Anthropocene is the age of humans but we are making the world a place where neither humans, nor any other species of animals or plants can survive. Our levels of pollution is increasing rapidly and the number of species is getting drastically reduced rapidly. The number of resources on Earth is reducing constantly and drastically and we, humans, are the cause of all this. I agree with David Attenborough that we have to take steps to change the condition of our planet and only we, humans, are capable of doing that. We have to make it our responsibility to make a better planet for all of humankind and wildkind because nature is so much more powerful than humankind and we have no rights to destroy other lives even if they may be animal lives or plant lives. If we have to improve our living conditions, we have to nurture our planet until it is fully cured of the illness we brought upon it. It is our fault that the world is like this so it is also our duty to return it to full health.
I think we could learn of how nature works and acts, because that is our past.
To save the planet we need to learn from our past which suggets that Earth can heal itself provided we live in balance with our surroundings.
We can simply change our ways and look back at how things were before. Evolving isn't necessarily limited to growing, rather, it could be about us taking a step back to what we did to our planet. Evolving is also about learning from our mistakes. It is hard to accept that what we have done cannot be taken back. There are consequences. However, human beings make mistakes. No one is perfect in morality and judgment. By evolving, change in perspectives and necessary actions are prerequisites. It is by these for us to create our future. The generation ahead of us lies in our hands, the present, and what we have to realize is that our planet requires our cooperation to succeed.
where we can go back to the old times
changed what we are doing and better start to think about how to save the planet.
1) We can get renewable energy
2) Stop deforestation
3) recycle
My thoughts on this are that by evolving from our past we create our future. If we don't do something now, in the future it won't heal itself. We can evolve from our past to create our future, why don't we start now making the world wilder?
we can creat a bright future of the planet by balancing nature now.by balancing our population, our environment, our lifestyles etc.
Well obliviously history always repeats it's self so no matter what we do it will always happen again. So we use each other to get information and every problem that comes our way we always solve it no matter what. We own nature and the planet.
Lets try not to forget nurturing our planet while looking for new things in the future, Lets help one another by protecting our mother earth.
use more renewable energy!
We need to change our lifestyle of living. Living with contentment as not to harm our mother earth.
I think that the people can create and design their future themselves. So, if they want to create beautiful and pleasant future, they should avoid their past bad things and they should change to be good things in the future.
We need to actually start taking government action to save our planet. In addition people can start making small changes in their day to day lives.
The past can motivate us to be better in our future, now knowing where we are heading and doing everything we can to become more "wild"
We need to act in order to save our environment. We know from the past what not to do and what to do and how to be more sustainable its up to us to make sure we work to preserve the precious environment we have all been gifted with. Some people just want to use the earth and take advantage of it especially some businessmen and politicians but we must work on preserving our earth for hundreds of millions of more years.
We can learn from our past by learning how we got the the point where we are now. The past can tell us what works and what does not. We can then grow from there and create a more sustainable present and future.
My thoughts on this are that by evolving from our past we create our future. If we don't do something now, in the future it won't heal itself. We can evolve from our past to create our future, why don't we start now making the world wilder?
we can evolve by knowing what harms the planet and not doing those things.
You know when thinking about the quote " How can we evolve from our past to create our future?" Does set a tone for us to truly change the way we usually do when it comes to recycling and even using electricity every single day. We need to change what the past had done to a better outlook for future generations to start carrying on the need to stop for the greater good. Its time to stop.
We can review and reflect on our pasts and our actions in the past to move forward in life and to have/ build an amazing future.
This means as we grow and move forward with our life we can learn from our mistakes to make ourselves better for ourselves and the world.
My thoughts on this is that he is saying that we as a species need to look back on our past and what we have done that was right and wrong and use that information for a better future. Hw is saying that we should understand that we made mistakes and understand that they will not happen again if we want to save this planet. He is saying to grow up and carry out the right, healthier, more sustainable plan.
History repeats itself every now and again. In the past, humans didn't care much for the environment as the Industrial Revolution kicked off to better the lives of the people. But now we know the damage done, we can use the past as motivation to save the planet.
nature and what it involves. However, we did not know enough to deal with phenomena, so we learn to survive. Nowadays, with the advance of knowledge and technology,
In the past everything in our planet was balanced because there wasn't as much industrial revaluation. Although, now we have a lot of industrial revelations and it is impacting our planet. We have to apply the past to the present of how they used resources and skills to keep the planet safe.
look back and what we did right and what we did wrong in order to improve and restore the wrong we did
My thoughts on this are we should look at our past, see what we did, and then we should see our mistakes and change them. If we slowly change our mistakes in the present, our future may be better.
Sir David Frederick Attenborough's powerful narration had the strength to remind us of the things we often choose to forget. I think it is a very true phrase, and it is that many times we decide to forget things to continue moving forward, but the reality is that we are only covering an imperfection that with the passage of time all it does is get bigger. So yes, if we want to change something we have to be very aware of where we come from and where we want to go.
a
I think he refers to using the technology for taking care of all the things we have now for still having them in the future.
- That we can obtain some aspects from the past, some things that we practice in the past that reduce the contamination and take that and develop it. We can change the future by the past and our predecessors.
we need to stop using fossil fuels
We can evolve from the Industrial Era and go back to the Stone Age where we didn't need fossil fuels or cars or cell phones; we would always be in survival mood.
There is a portion to which will not re-learn because of their past experiences and teachings. It could be tech, or food or what dopamine comes in and goes to us on a daily basis. Baby steps towards a better sustainable future.
we can maybe do all an new planet change all the things that we know now and change the mentality of all people
In “How to Save the Planet,” David Attenborough said: “How can we evolve from our past to create our future?” What are your thoughts on this?
Experimenting and discovering things with the passage of time, and tell it to others so that that information is expanded and take it into account if necessary.
this is basically the phrase we need to say every day in the morning to be honest, this has a lot of meaning and not only to save nature and resources, we can be better but we need to accpet the mistakes we are doing, check them, think "how can i repair that mistakes" and make a difference
use less gas
qwerty
We can return to how it was in the past. In that time period when we were in balance with nature, and earth thrived, we have to return to that point in the past, to make earth thrive once again.
we need to stop putting carbon in the atmosphere and just use artificial chicken nuggets
Evolution is constant in humans. At present the evolution has lost its balance with the environment and other species.

learn from our past and reflect on things we did wrong and take the action to try to correct those mistakes!!! Act fast!
1Saving our earth and its environment becomes highly important as it provide us food and water to sustain life. Our well-being solely depends on this planet it gives food and water to all living things to it is our responsibility to take care of it.2
Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from apelike ancestors. Scientific evidence shows that the physical and behavioral traits shared by all people originated from apelike ancestors,3To think carefully or a lot about things. consider. plan.
Use what we know from our past to bring into the world today. Humans can all survive without fossil fuels, plastics, etc. we all just have to put an effort in.
Plant trees
Sustainably use resourses
