You can learn about sea creatures in the ocean its really fascinating.

I really love and well fascinated by cats because of their special characteristics such as having retractable claws, quick reflexes and having night vision eyes.
Its night vision eyes enable cats to see in the dark because of the high number of rods in the eye's retina which is sensitive to dim light. Its night vision characteristics inspired people to make night vision goggles, night vision cameras and more.
I haven't had any ideas myself, but I will still learn and study further about all types of cats and hope to gain knowledge from it. Some day, I hope to make a well-known and useful invention based on my inspiration of cats.

Something that I love in nature are insects of the Hymenoptera Family. This is because many insects (Wasps, Bees and Ants) have brilliant intelligence and particularly, nest design of the honeybee. The honeycomb of the bee has the most area of any shape and requires the least amount of material to make because they are hexagons, which could be useful to develop ways to pact more people together without using more materials.

i think that we should find out how penguins are able to hold their breath for so long

I really like water in nature, any kind of water. It can fall down from the sky as rain, watering the soil. It can lie in the ocean quietly. It can be snow in winter. It can be clouds in the sky. Water is the source of life.

The sun, it's so bright in the sunset and a good place to see it is the beach at around 6:15. :D

I think it's really cool how the ocean is able to regulate the temperature of the entire planet. It takes up a lot of the planet's space, but the fact that it is able to keep our temperatures in check is amazing, and it also supplies a lot of Oxygen for both underwater and on-land creatures!

I have a deep love for trees and the calming effect they have on me. I think people need to be aware that trees are not just for cleaning the air, but also to prevent flooding and erosion, as well as increase biodiversity.

I love many parts of nature, but today I'll focus on bodies of water. I live by many small lakes and my friends and I often go to a small brooke to watch wildlife. Rivers and lakes are always flowing, always moving. In addition, the more the water moves the less bacteria can grow in it. We can use these properties of water, and countless others, to create sustainable energy, and cleaner water.

A hummingbird is what I really love. You can see how they move.

I personally find chameleons so interesting; how they have developed to camouflage and blend into their environment. I think we can learn so much from them and I’m still learning everyday. I’m not entirely sure what we could invent inspired by them, but I think that there is so much potential.

For me, they are plants and trees. They are the most important gift from nature.

The way it controls the mostly every aspect of nature. The large wooded stem, the beautiful green leaves , flowers of every colour and importantly the fruits.

Learning about what can trees gives us like it act as a purifying system for air, absorp unwanted noise, provide us with medicine, food.. actually there are a lot of things we can't even think of.. learning about trees and plants help us innovate new ideas like scientists are using genetic engineering in trees in provide us with useful things

I wonder what other things mother nature has to offer

The oceans fasciate me because it's mindblowing that we know more about space than we know about the deep sea and its creatures. If we were to study it, which we already do, we could maybe find a new and better source of renewable energy.

One system that fascinates me is the rock cycle. The design of this cycle is that at one point or another every rock becomes another form within the cycle. People could learn a lot of things by studying this. We can learn that most things in the natural world cycle, and without these cycles humans wouldn't be able to live the lives that we do. This knowledge can be used in the human world by applying it to the way that we are using energy sources. Many of these sources have taken thousands of years to form, much like rocks, but if we use them to quickly, they won't have time to replenish.

The natural design of our human brains.

This is honestly my first time to know about this - definitely makes us take time to observe how nature works so that we can then apply it not to complicate our lives. I think I would take time to observe how birds seeks shelter when it rains, or just see what other fascinating things I might discover from nature.

Elephants can smell water from up to three miles away. I think that is a really cool feature to have and if we could make devices that can do the same thing, explorers or anybody could be able to find water.

I really love the ocean, I think it's really pretty and extremely peaceful. It fascinates me that something so large can be incredibly beautiful and very destructive. I think people learn how the ocean effects the climate through learning about it.

My favorite piece of nature is a shark because it is so interesting how they have ridges on their whole body that allows them to reduce friction and move through the water faster. This could be useful for humans to use on boats to make them quicker. For example, if you needed a boat to deliver medicine quickly, you would want it to have this feature so it could move as quick as possible.

Also, I find a mosquito very interesting the straw it uses to suck blood is so thin, that you can't feel it getting into your body. This is being used to help develop less painful injections.

I am fascinated with plants i feel we could learn a lot from them for very of a plant is wasted and life is constantly evolving to do amazing thing like communication though other species, Recycle and preserve water, it has partnerships with many creatures and much more

I'm fascinated by the leaves of trees. They have this beautiful intricate design. We could learn how to make more efficient water systems by studying the leaves of trees- how they transport food.

I love animals. I find them to be fascinating because of the sheer amount of species and the uniqueness of each. By studying animals, people can learn new ways to adapt to their environments. We could use this knowledge to build better homes and improve our quality of life.

A kingfisher is a diving bird that gets fish from the deepest of rivers scientist might want to find out how deep this bird could go.

Scientists may want to study kingfishers in ore detail as they dive from heights into very deep water, they also have interesting eyes and use monocular vision in the air (use only one eye at a time) but underwater use both of their eyes. This underwater vision is not as good but still allows them to see their prey well in the water as well as above/out of it. Scientist should maybe study how this transition works and how it really affects the kingfishers eyesight in more detail.

I think shark's skin is really cool. It has a cool look to it. people have already studied it though so I don't really know what could be different.

A plant is currently the most fascinating thing to me now as I started gardening since last year. Some plants are extremely durable and resilient. They are also very efficient in absorbing nutrition and energy from just water and sunlight. They spring up when I thought the plant was gone. The design of the roots usually differs to each type of plant, so do the appearance of leaves, whether the plant produces small or big fruits, giant or tiny flowers, the size of the final seeds.

I love forests. They are a centre of environmental and biodiversity excellence. A handful of trees with appropriate distances look great. However, their presence is not convenient in urban areas. So, I think urban planning for tree plantation can be helpful.

I bet you my life that you will become a famous inventor of Night vision.

From my point of view, sunsets are the most wonderful pieces of art throughout the world. Just when you look at that, a lot of colors between red and blue are painted in the sky. According to what I've googled an afterglow contains dust, so if we dig into "dust", we can remember that dust is made of dead skin cells and so more. That "dust" could help specialist forensics to find out murderers.

Every bit of nature has some thing to teach. The ocean is full of marvelous creatures, we even learn from sharks and whales to corels. And I think that studying deep sea organisms can give deep insights about the pressure control etc.

I walk around my garden and look at the underside of leaves for a long, long time. And the longer I look at them, the more complex, beautiful and organized they become.

I'm in love with and fascinated by how packaging is done by nature..... like the DNA in human cell which is actually 2m long but is contained in such a small structure...... nucleus...... learning more about this may help us make convenient way to reduce bulkyness in maybe something.

Horses truly fascinate me, because of they are very strong and powerful, and yet they can be so graceful and supple. It amazes me that a horse little bit under 5 ft tall can jump something that is virtually the same hight as them.

There are deep divers that dive down to find creatures we wouldn’t find in a natural zoo

I love coral because of it's unique shapes and colour.
It has:
- corridors
-holes for water to go through
-strong , but flexible
People might learn that if you have flexible and sturdy buildings they can withstand natural disasters like earthquakes.

I live near the sea so i love the ocean. You can learn all about different fish and it could be another source of energy.

I think that wolves and wild dogs should be complemented for their loyalty to one another. They live in packs and always help each other and share food. Once, when a dog got run over by a car, the rest of the pack stood in a circle all around it and waited for it to get back up, not seeming to understand it was dead. Sometimes dogs and wolves are better humans then we are.

When you look at grass, when it rains, the water just sits at the top of each blade. Scientists could use this to help gather water for when it rains.

A part of nature I'm quite interested in is the ocean. It is so dark and deep and mysterious, and I have so many question about it. What creatures lay at the bottom of the ocean? How do they live? What creatures have we not discovered yet?

I am always fascinated about how animals can communicate with each other other than the use of words as our language. It would become a breakthrough if humans discovered and understand how they are doing it. And if we do, we can finally connect with them more and become more humane as they may not be human beings, but they have feelings.

I would pick ocean. Everything about ocean amazes me, when I think about how many fishes and living things are under the water I get kind of scared. People might learn about how they are all living there, all together. I’ve never thought of how we might use that in human world.

I really like the microscopic world, in the microscopic world there lurks billions of different species of micro organisms in the form of planktons, each specie is unique yet wonderful in its own way, they each has their own way of living, by sucking food up like the stentor and Rotifer, also some amoebas suck the inside of another cell to feed. Species of microscopic creatures are so diverse that evolution takes place much quicker as they reproduce quick. They might be the key to understand the creation of robotic cells that might be useful on medications.

I think people are looking at designs in the nature for technoladgy like the design for a bee honeycomb

To say I really love the sunset it's magnetizing and to amazing.It also gives us a hope that it will again rise tomorrow. The sky looks dasing and bold when the sun sets. In human world we can use this knowledge as if someone goes it gives us a hope that it will come again.

A part of nature I find fascinating are animals eys - different animals' eyes have unique abilities for example cats and their version of night vision or eagles and their very powerful vision. I think this could be studied more to evolve things like night vision goggles or magnifying glass.

I think oceans are the cool3st thing in the world. our oceans cover more than 70 per cent of the earth's surface. The majority of life on earth is aquatic . Less than five percent of yhe planet's oceans have baeen explored. It's possible to find rivers and lakes beneath the ocean. These are the coolest thing about oceans which i like.

I really love the design of an ant's nest. The main tunnels starting from the entrance diverge into smaller and smaller tunnels eventually ending at chambers. Since it is underground, the nest keeps cool as it is staying away from direct heat, and stays warm as it is staying away from cold. This can be used as an example of building underground infrastructure. For example, a subway.

I love how trees are majestic and calm, and they are such an essential part of our environment as they give out oxygen that we need to breathe. They are such a beautiful part of nature and they are a very precious part of our ecosystem

I love wolves. what fascinates me is that they hunt and stay in a pack a group; we might learn to make something like a robot from them but i think we should learn to work together, to help and stay by each others side.

My favorite pice of nature is a cheetah because it so fast and agile to catch their prey. It could be useful to deliver things quickly when needed also to run away when I don't feel safe.

The ocean can sometimes be a flat surface in the day time,but...,at night time the waves of the ocean are pulled in the direction of the moon!And here is something that you probably dont know,I'm talking about how the ocean gets its nutrients and what im about to say might blow your mind.The ocean gets its nutrients from sand storms in the desert!How cool is that!!

I really love flowers, I am fascinated with there beauty and is amazed to see the different types of flowers created by nature.I will really study more about flowers.

I am greatly inspired by animals. If we look a little closer we might discover something about them that we could use to inspire us.

I think scientists could take inspiration from marine life that live in the depths of the ocean and their survival tactics without much light. This could reduce our energy use of lightbulbs into something more sustainable.

Natural Stone Arches fascinate me because they have been there for many years, but they were created over time from erosion. People might learn how to use materials that last for hundreds if not thousands of years. Stone Arches can be made out of all kinds of rock, but I noticed that they are all a reddish color so they might have a high concentration of iron. They are shaped like the St. Louis Arch, so I think we were fascinated by arches before the metal one in St. Louis, MO.

That would be cool because I kind of think their lungs are smaller than ours or those of a whale or dolphin.

You can learn about bumble bees. They're very fascinating, most people think they're scary and run away from them, but if you get to know them like I do they really become enjoyable to just sit and watch. Bees are very important to our environment as they pollinate so many plants.

What fascinates me the most are florescent animals at the bottom of the sea like a jelly fish they create their own light so they could live in places where others cant and i guess humans have already done this but we created fire and learn to live in a different way and that allowed us to be looking into the stars many years later

A forest communicates through roots and helps one another to thrive. When they grow from a seed they compete for the sun until they find a good spot but when a tree is dying they help it up. People will learn to help one another and that nature is a cycle.

I love snow. It's a remarkable insulator and its whiteness allows it to easily reflect light. Certain communities of people have already discovered that they can create livable structures with snow (igloos, quinzhee, etc.) by packing snow. Perhaps people could learn from the crystal structure of snowflakes and the overall composition of snow to create artificial versions of snow that could be used to make well-insulated structures.

Chameleons are fascinating creatures who could blend into their surroundings. I was wondering if we could somehow adapt this effect and put them into our clothing, so our clothing could blend into our surroundings when we want them to.

The Sunset cause it beautiful

I love cats (because I pet one), and they can see very well in the dark, and they are also very fast when catching something. I think cats are very fascinating animals, so I hope in the future, human can investigate something related to cats.

The way plants work fascinates me. It can squeeze every last drop of nutrients out of everything, from the minerals out of a cup of water to sunlight. The roots of plants are also built to constantly search for resources, just like humans would with oilsands, but in a much more complicated but efficient manner. If we could study the way the roots work and how they transform sunlight into glucose, I think we could very easily solve global hunger, as we could draw out essential minerals from water, and transform sunlight into sugar, which we could then either gather enough and somehow prepare it in a way humans could eat, or we could reduce the amount of work sugar farmers have to do, as we could meet the increasing demand in the global sugar market by using this new "plant glucose."

I love the sunset because the beautiful color when the sun sets and brings night where the moon comes out with the stars to lighten up the night. I'm so fascinated with the world around us!

For me it would probably be water. Its smooth and perfect circular ripples. Calming me with every movement. Water is all around us, as rain, oceans and seas, what we use to wash our hands and plates. Its needed in our life. Its our responsibility to look after it. We can learn from it and make better inventions with even better uses and tactics to help us in our everyday life.

I think we should study the Axolotl. Their ability to grow back a limb really amazes me, and I think that would be very useful in real life.

Everytime we go out for a long road trip, I always love to look around to the point that I don't sleep because I'm so fascinated with nature like the carabaos, rice fields, big old trees, and most of all mountains. They represent magnificence! It's amazing how a mountain accommodates diversed living creatures and offers life essential resources. And covers an area from typhoons too!

Humans should bear in mind that all living things are interrelated in the cosmos, and that we are primary stewards of all other creations. Preserving nature gives opportunity to our future generations, who would surely contribute great nature-friendly ideas and sustainable innovations to the world.

Who knows, one of my kids might design typhoon proof bricks inspired by the magnificent mountain in the future, which a typhone-prone country like Philippines need.

Lightning is fasinating because it has such a crazy display and you think it happens so fast but watching slow motion shows that it's a carefully calculated path of least resistance to the ground. Studying lightning could give us some real clues to better energy and electricity perhaps

I find the process of evolution absolutely fascinating - earth's diversity and its organisms' abilities to be able to adapt to every conceivable habitat etc. Its incredible that we all just came from a bunch of cells in a primordial soup billions of years ago and now we have such a wide variety.

I've always been amazed by the grasshoppers, how they can jump very high, maybe we can copy their design to create more efficient mechanisms.

I really enjoy looking at the formations of clouds. Sometimes I would try to determine what the clouds are forming into. People can learn a lot from clouds and cloud formations, such as discovering a pattern of wind blowing through the clouds. In terms of design and fashion, fashion designers can include the pattern of clouds in clothes. They can even mimic the soft texture of clouds to make the clothing extra fluffy.

I also think we should take a look on ************ dams

I like dolphins because their brains are just as sharp as the human mind!We can study more about them using science!

The sun as our natural source of energy - heat and light. Because of this, it has become, across cultures, the symbol of birth, life, energy, even of the supremely powerful being who created and controls the whole universe. It might be useful for us to maximize its presence as our source of naturl energy aside from primarily depending on other sources of non-renewable energy.

The organisms that live in the midnight zone of the ocean interest me most because of their amazing adaptions. Many organisms such as the deep sea anglerfish use bioluminescence to attract prey and survive. Maybe bioluminescence can be used to create more energy-efficient devices.

I really like nature the beach has a design made up of sand and salt water that when mixed with the sand forms a more consistent mass we could learn how sea waves form, how far the objects that go in the sea. We could use this knowledge as a model or inspiration for an idea.

Nature has many things that we have not yet explored, and it naturally provides us with a lot of resources, as well as many strange and beautiful creatures. In nature, I like those animals and the ocean most.

For myself, cat is momst fascinating piece of nature.I think they’re extremely graceful and beautiful animals with unique and interesting personalities. They seem to be far more intelligent than dogs but in their own way are just as loving. i like to gain more knowledge about them and hope that i will gain more and more knowledge about them

I enjoy looking at leaves because the different kinds of leaves have different patterns which interests me.

We really like snails and the way they can move their homes around. It would be good if humans could think about different types of houses like snails.

I love the oceans

Dolphins fascinates me a lot because of their ability to produce ultrasonic waves from their lower jawbone. They find their preys or pod by sending ultrasonic waves and recognizing the reflection of it. If scientists study more about this special characteristic of dolphins, they will be able to make an invention which search through the ocean based on dolphin's ability.

A rose is a very pretty flower and i like the bright red color it can alo help younger kids remember their colors

I also like watching the sunset it in the morning it calms me and it is relaxing to watch.

I fascinates about a tree in this piece of nature. It has a tall and big body, some thin branches which is full of leaves. I think people might learn about the diversity of diffrence kinds of trees. We might use that knowledge to design and create homes, building,...

A piece of nature that interests me is the redwood trees. In Big Baison state park, there was a recent fire. You would probably expect for all the redwoods to burn in the fire. But, most of the trees survived because the recovery of the redwood trees are amazingly fast. Though all the building and campsites in the park burned in the fire, the redwoods still survived. I think this feauture of the red woods are amazing and a thing that we should learn from the redwoods.

I love each and every thing which exist in this univers because God has created every person with an unique structure and a loving & secret heart . We have to just observe things and be familiar .

We can learn a lot about resilience, solar and water management and energy production from plants. Taking a look at the design of leaves and the versatility of the shapes in trees big and small opens a whole world of possibilities. And they are very accessible, they are virtually everywhere!

The reason why I think trees are fascinating is because they are an amazing part of nature and they also give us oxegon.

We can make a flying car by using how a bird can fly

I would probably have to pick flowers. What fascinates me about them is there are so many different types, and they all look completely different. You will never see a flower that looks identical to another. I will describe a rose. They have a dark green stem, with leaves up and down it. Then the top of the flower has tons and tons of petals, overlapping each other out from the middle in a spiral like shape. I have seen red, white, pink and orange roses. People might learn how they spread, how they get their color, or even how they help our environment. We can use that knowledge in the human world by educating others on flowers, and telling people to plant more flowers because they help bees with pollination and are a oxygen radiating plant!

sunsets/sunshine fascinate me. There are different colors in the sky each time. The sun is very bright and has a pretty reflection. People might learn how the sun reflects and what causes the different colors to form in a sunset. The reflection of the sun and the colors make some people feel certain emotions so we could use that knowledge in the world somehow.

One part of nature that I love is the ocean. The thing that fascinates me the most about the ocean is that so much of it is unknown or hasn't even been discovered yet. We don't know what kind of creatures could be living in the ocean. People can learn many things from studying the ocean though. They can learn about all different sea life, habitats, ecosystems, and a lot more. We can use the information we learn to realize how much we can impact the ocean and it's ecosystems.

I love the ocean. The wave is so pretty and I easily get a peaceful feeling from it. From the ocean, people can learn different species and I think we get the electricity from the ocean.

The air around us. It's a mixture of gasses including water vapor. By studying how water vapor changes back into a gas through condensation could we work out how to get water from air? And in the process solve problems of water shortages etc? Perhaps not strictly BIO-mimickry but we can use this knowledge of the natural world to help us.

I think people should look more at the ocean itself. Most of it is unexplored and i think that it could possibly have a lot for us to learn and apply to the human race, such as an undiscovered species having a trait that no one has thought of yet. We could apply this to our technology which could help us understand it even more, and so on.

The thing that fascinates me about the ocean is that it is home to so many different organisms and ecosystems within it. There is everything from the tinniest plankton to the biggest whale, and more than 80 percent of the ocean is left to be explored. The design of the ocean I guess is underwater canyons and volcanoes and moving water. We might learn how the oceans regulate temperature like they do and how their currents move. We could use that knowledge to produce energy in some way, like maybe a new way of clean energy from water besides Hydropower.

When I was a student at high school, I thought more about creating a leaf and put it on the tube released CO2 of many factories. Because the leaf is able to collect CO2 and change it to carbonhydrat, and it merely needs solar energy. These days, I recognies that not only CO2 in the released gas, there are different subtances in them. Moreover, the leaf need H2O for their process. Therefore, I don't think more about that idea, but if I have a chance, I would find out solutions for some problems like that to creat a artific leaf.

Trees because they let us breathe. Wood, leaves, roots. With photosynthesis, we could create more energy.

Octopus/squid/chameleons ability to change colour could be useful

Ants have always fascinated me for how amazing they are. They consistently work throughout the day, have great team work, collect things for later use and always clean up their surroundings. There's a lot to learn from them, both at a physical level and a psychological level.

I like trees. They are always at giving end, be it shelter, water, food, medicine, etc. and hardly take anything. They teach us how to be compassionate, how to love. If we also try to be more like trees maybe we can make a better world. Imagine if everybody is ready to help any person who needs it, how much it can change world.

I like flowers and rainbows.

Mosquitoes use a straw when sucking up the blood of a person and it doesnt hurt. By studying that, I think we can invent less painful injections which will help in development in medecine field.

I like the ocean because it can be wild at times even scary but at other times it can be mild and calm, this change fascinates me because you don't know what's going to happen in the ocean.

Nature can help us with our every day life if we can just learn how to use it the right way.

I love sunsets and clouds. It just fascinates me how unique, fluffy and huge they are.It literally looks like painted it into the sky. With the color of sunsets it amazes me how effortlessly the different colors blend together. Everyday it looks slightly different from the day before. Maybe a little more orange one day, and more purple the next. We could learn more about colors by studying sunsets.

I think we can learn from flowers that close up at night. We could apply the knowledge from those to create automatic window shades, lights, and so much more.

We can understand the secrets of death through the plants. Because if you supply the optimum conditions like enough water, air and nutrients for the plants, they can grow forever. (Ofcourse their old cells can't give permission after a point) But even so they can be alive about hundreds or thousands years.

Why don't humans use biomimicry more often?

A part of nature I really love is the forest. It fascinates me about this piece of nature how the trees grow and can live so old. Its design is scalpy and soft with the bark and moss. People might learn that 1 tree can make a forest. All the tree needs are time. We might use that knowledge in the human world by making the houses stand old like a tree.

I love the smell of lemongrass, it makes me feel comfortable and peaceful. Lemongrass grows on bushes and we can easily see its stem, which is the part we mostly use, grows above the soil lay. Lemongrass's smell is light and pleasant, moreover, its smell is also used to get rid of the mosquitos. Based on the positive effect of the lemongrass's smell, we can make the lemongrass essential oil. We are all busy and have other works to do so maybe we don't have much time to grow the lemongrass ourselves. Therefore, it might be easier for us if there is anything which is available and made from lemongrass. We can buy it and freely use.

I think, I'd have to chose a flower, a cute animal, or a rainbow. I know that sounds childish, but I like them. I like flowers because they can be really colourful and pretty. They can also make food out of sunrays! Not only can they make food for themselves, but they can provide food for bees, butterflies, and more! I’m keen on animals especially on wild ones. My favorite animal is elephant because it’s very strong and huge. Elephants use their trumps to pull out food from the trees. Kareena (age 12):- I really was well fascinated by the hot springs(greatest phenomenon) because they can produce hot water without any water heaters or stuff like that. Also, there are minerals in it and it was also believed to have restorative powers. From the hot springs, I think I create a water heater that is self-sustainable, produces 0/ less toxic materials for places that does not have access to electricity.
