\n I understand that when most people discuss about bugs, they think about creatures like: spiders, centipedes and all of that indescribably weird bugs. But what if we completely ignore that part and look at the pros? Bugs are known for their rich copper, iron, magnesium, selenium, zinc, etc and they are obviously okay to eat as the Romans thrived eating stuff like beetle larvae. So why don\'t modern scientists learn from them and actually make the bugs useful? + as mentioned in the video, there are about 2,000 insect species that people eat in the world and according to google, there are more than 900,000 types of insects in the entire world. \n I completely understand the argument that shrimps and lobsters are perhaps just glorified bugs of the ocean. But they do taste rather okay and are very presentable. \n As my point of view, most insects have long life process in which metamorphosis occur as we have studied. The point is we could rely partly on the insects\' life stages; larvae, eggs and also adult stages, for the demand of our food. So we human can reduce slaughtering mammals and other animals as we demand according to by the top of food chain.
