Drat, this conversation has been ongoing between my PCP who is worried about osteopenia and my urologist who is worried about forming more oxalate stones. Taking a supplement was suggested by the PCP however I only take a smaller dose and take them every other day. Urologist prefers I only intake calcium from food sources, perhaps maintaining Vit D daily and eliminating the supplemental calcium would be a better informed choice? I await your responses... please and thanks.
